Supply Chain and B2B Business Systems Analyst
We have an immediate contract opportunity with a large F500 client in the Milpitas, CA area.
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the effective use of the Oracle E Business Suite 11i system for Oracle Supply Chain and B2B EDI Modules. You will partner with the business units to ensure the efficient use of technology and provide ongoing support & enhancements as the business changes or new functionality is introduced in the applications. Your success will depend on maintaining strong relationships with internal business partners to ensure the best use of technology to facilitate their business processes.
This position requires an analytical mindset, accuracy and creative problem solving skills. You may assist in coordinating and assembling cross functional teams, creating project plans and managing the complete project lifecycle.
Key
Responsibilities:
o Deep functional and process understanding of order scheduling, fulfillment and B2B with manufacturing partners like contract manufacturers, internal factories, suppliers and customers.
o Should be able to support standard and complex B2B/EDI custom applications
. Should have experience working in an outsourced manufacturing model
o Collaborate with the business users to establish scheduling, shipping, fulfillment and B2B processes
o Business system analyst will partner with business units to ensure efficient use of application and provide ongoing enhancements
o Coordinate process improvements with business; gather and document functional requirements
o May work with the internal managed services team on upgrades and enhancements
o Complete business process mapping and identify opportunities for improvement
o Maintain and improve system interfaces between key applications
o Work with powerusers and superusers to prioritize enhancements and process improvements
o Support a change management process to manage patch applications and changes to the configurations
o Develop test plans and manage user testing for system changes
o Support new ERP or business unit initiatives and projects which may include new functionality, process improvements or migrating new business units onto the systems
o Support reporting requirements and functionality.
Required
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in computer science or business with 8 years' experience as a systems or business analyst
o 8 experience in IT analysis, design and implementation.
o 8 years of consulting or industry experience preferred.
o 8 years with full life cycle of Oracle Order to Cash or Quote to cash with B2B experience, specific modules OM , WSH, INV, QP, B2B, EDI
o 5
years of experience managing large technology engagements
Essential
Qualifications:
o Oracle 11.5.10 or R12 experience within Oracle specific modules including OM, WSH, INV, QP, B2B & EDI
o Knowledge of complete scheduling to fulfillment lifecycle
o Must have excellent communication skill
o Must be a self-starter
o Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver
o Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
o Must be a team player and be able to interact well with all users, peers and executive management
o Must have worked in a techno functional role within Quote To Cash or Order to Cash cycles.
o Proficient in documenting use cases, requirements and functional specifications a
o Ability to quickly translate requirements to prototype and get business buy- in
o Proficiency with use of Microsoft Office applications including, Word, MS Project, Excel and Visio and other tools that facilitate the requirements gathering and design phases of the SDLC.
o Passionate about solving business problems, Innovative, creative and an outside-the-box mindset.
o Excellent Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
o Self-motivated with strong leadership and presence
o Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
o Must possess critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
o Build credibility and trust with team members and business clients
