Staff Financial Analysts

SanDisk Corporation needs Staff Financial Analysts in Milpitas, California. Responsibilities include conducting month-end & quarter-end close activities based on accounting (US GAAP) principles. Prepare and analyze expenses, headcount for period-end activities and for forecast using spreadsheet modeling techniques (vlookup, pivot, array formulas, string functions, index & matching). Analyze & solve cases using valuation and spreadsheet modeling techniques. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to ascertain the profitability of existing business, and the financial impact of starting a new business opportunity. Provide support in putting together monthly and quarterly close and planning packages, and in developing long range plans. Analyze budget for month-end and quarterly reporting and forecasting.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years of work experience in a Financial Analyst-related occupation. Education or experience must include: 1) Valuation metrics techniques, such as IRR, Paycheck period, DCF analysis and computing inputs; 2) Computing various profitability metrics such as ROIC, ROE, and EVA; 3) Advanced spreadsheet techniques, including Monte Carlo simulations, Sensitivity & Scenario analysis, and advanced excel functions; 4) Expense analysis using US GAAP; 5) ERP tools such as SAP and financial reporting tools such as BPC; and, 6) At least one of year of experience in circuit design engineering. Experience may be gained concurrently.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
