The Bilingual Chinese/English speaking Admission Liaison's primary responsibility is to support the development of appropriate referrals by creating and sustaining educational and consultative relationships with referral sources in assigned accounts and to present VITAS services and philosophy to patients and families in a manner that results in the admission of appropriate patients who choose hospice services.
This is a full-time position assisting with admissions in the Chinese speaking community throughout the San Francisco Bay Program's coverage area to include: San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Southern Alameda Counties.
Bachelor's degree preferred
RN preferred, but not required
Previous health-care sales or service experience preferred.
Previous hospital, physician practice, LTC or ALF experience highly preferred.
Strong presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated capacity to learn clinical knowledge as well as VITAS pain and symptom management guidelines.
