As part of the Malware Security Research team, perform cutting-edge analysis of Windows malware. Research the threat landscape to enhance FireEyes core engine. Conduct malware reverse engineering, and automate the collection and storage of windows malware. Enhance FireEyes mobile malware intelligence. Mine millions of records to identify new threats. Blog about latest security topics.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, and at least 7 years of related industry experience, in the position offered or related capacity(ies). Experience must include:
1. 3 years of experience in the area(s) of malware-analysis, software/security-content build/release, networking/system administration or software development
2. IDA PRO and/or OllyDbg
3. In-depth knowledge of malware detection and analysis, and reverse engineering
4. Proficiency with network traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump
5. Solid programming skills with scripting languages such as Perl or Python
6. Deep working knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS
7. Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis skills
8. Strong knowledge in one of Windows internals, Linux kernel, BSD or Darwin
9. Strong C/C++ programming development skill

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
