SanDisk Corporation needs Product Engineers in Milpitas, California
to provide production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to high volume production. Interface with design, process, test and reliability engineering to solve problems. Responsible for new Silicon/technology and 1 y Pbyte ramp and bringing new NAND memory products into production. Define test flow and screens to deliver very high quality OEM SSD products meeting DPPM targets. Perform Failure Analysis, define root causes of yield loss, and drive for improvements in the test flow. Sustain products with cost reduction and yield improvements. Troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment work well with people as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Utilizes graduate-level research and analysis skills.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related field. Education or experience must include:
1. Semiconductors: Basic Electronic Components including Diode, Bi-polar, C-MOS transistor;
2. Computing and Scripting Languages including C, C++, and Perl;
3. Scope, Logic analyzer, Lock-in Amplifier for data acquisition, Optical Micro-scope, and Scanning Electron Microscope;
4. Digital and Analog Electronics including Memory Devices;
5. Fabrication Process including Ebeam Lithography, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma enhance chemical Vapor deposition, Thermal vapor deposition, and Photo-Lithography;
6. Semiconductor Characterization and Experimental Setup and Analysis; and,
7. Advanced Statistical Data analysis using Spotfire, Excel, Matlab,and MathCad
Experience may be gained concurrently.
