Firmware Engineers

SanDisk Corporation needs Firmware Engineers in Milpitas, California to analyze, design, program, debug, troubleshoot and/or modify software for firmware (IC embedded code) applications. Conduct programming activities involving analog and digital hardware and software operating systems. Work with analog and digital hardware and software operating systems. Program in machine language, assembly language, and high level languages (i.e. C, C++). Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Work on NAND Storage systems and on Systems and Firmware on Advance memory technologies.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, followed by 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a Firmware Engineer -related occupation. Experience must include:
1. Computer programming languages: C, C++, Python; x86 and ARC assembler;
2. MetaWare Development Toolkit;
3. Design, analysis, implementation and optimization of Flash Management Algorithms;
4. Problem solving and hardware debugging for modern-day multiprocessors systems utilizing such tools as JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analyzer and flash emulators;
5. SSD/SD/MMC/eMMC UFS host protocols, and USB host protocols;
6. Embedded Real Time Systems;
7. Design and analysis of systems architecture;
8. Applied mathematics, probability theory and statistics;
9. Inter-process synchronization; and,
10. Low level programming

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
