System Design Engineers
SanDisk Corporation needs System Design Engineers in Milpitas, California to design, define, and implement complex systems to meet product requirements while facing NAND memory limitations. Prepare, analyze, and study existing systems to develop new designs, design modifications, and improvements, and support simulation/model level systems analysis, product level integration, and user application level analysis. Perform root cause failure analysis on qualifications, production and compatibility issues by working with various functional groups such as Firmware, ASIC, Memory, PCB, Reliability, and Operations. Utilizes graduate level research and analysis.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field. Education or experience must include: 1) Computer programs and applications such as C/C++, Python, and Matlab; 2) Digital system design; 3) Circuit and system design; 4) MOS device theory; 5) Electrical circuit analysis; 6) Probability and statistics; 7) System on chip design and Verification; and 7) Formal Technical report writing.
