System Design Engineers

SanDisk Corporation needs System Design Engineers in Milpitas, California to apply system engineering analysis and problem solving techniques to NAND flash SSD drive development in the retail and OEM storage systems. Work closely with other system engineers, advanced technology development engineers and firmware engineers to develop algorithms, analyze test data, verify functionality and resolve issues. Develop test cases in an internal software frame work to analyze and validate features of NAND flash products. Responsible for validation of features including writing test plans and cross referencing to individual requirements. Implement tests and include them into automated regression runs. Conduct characterization of system parameters. Contribute to new technology development and develop characterization techniques and tools. Develop and execute test plans for algorithm feature verifications. Conduct Data analysis, Drive level failure analysis, and assist in firmware debugging.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field. Education or experience must include: 1) C language; 2) Python scripting; 3) Embedded Firmware development; 4) Software development; 5) Digital logic design including Gate level CMOS design; 6) Verilog or VHDL programming; 7) Analog Circuit Design; 8) Processor Architecture including Intel/AMD; and 9) OS development including Linux/Posix based OS.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
