Industrial & Operations Engineers

SanDisk Corporation needs Industrial & Operations Engineers in Milpitas, California to be responsible for the development of estimated engineering standards, product development, optimum process layouts and methods. Drive change and respond to shifting priorities and business needs by identifying, developing, and promoting new technologies, methods and processes. Identify opportunities, perform analysis, and provide observations and recommendations in alignment with Total Cost of Ownership principles. Analyze forecast demand and define optimal product planning. Responsible for monitoring constrained supply for a specific region or customer. Use Material Resource Planning systems to coordinate and analyze backlog and forecast activities with various operational teams, sales and customers to drive optimal supply chain planning. Contribute to assembling information to make strategic and operational decisions involving process redesigns or product and supply allocation.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field. Education or experience must include: 1) Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Control and Analysis, Aggregate Production Planning, and Capacity Management; 2) Demand Forecasting Techniques including Regression and Time Series Modeling; 3) Optimization including Linear Programming; 4) Simulation and Optimization software with applications in Supply Chain; 5) Spreadsheet modeling in Microsoft Excel; 6) Data Manipulation and Visualization; and 7) Total cost of ownership analysis.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
